Greenspace is a dynamic and passionate youth-led organization dedicated to championing climate action and fostering environmental conservation. Our organization centers around three key areas: tree planting, tree nurturing, and environmental advocacy, all working together to create a better world for generations to come. We particularly target young individuals, women, marginalized communities, internally displaced persons, and refugees. With a fervent commitment to making a positive impact, our group strives to combat climate change and pave the way for a sustainable future. Greenspace stands at the forefront of climate action, led by passionate young individuals. With an unwavering dedication to effecting positive change, we actively combat climate change and strive to forge a sustainable future.
Our History
In March 2023, a trio of young individuals, who were then students at The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, established Greenspace with the aim of utilizing media to empower themselves as catalysts for driving change in the battle against climate change. The three namely; Mattias Andrew, Kelvin Njogu and Junior Nixon sort to mobilize the different groups to achieve a significant impact by promoting a culture of environmental stewardship.
